Union Minister for Info and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur will inaugurate the eleventh version of Jagran Movie Pageant in Delhi, the organisers introduced Friday.
The four-day movie gala shall be held within the nationwide capital from August 3 to August 6 at Siri Fort Auditorium. It’s going to display over 55 movies from all throughout the globe, spanning numerous genres, languages, and themes, the organisers mentioned in a press release.
“We’re thrilled to carry the Jagran Movie Pageant to the guts of the capital metropolis, Delhi. As we unveil the eleventh version of the Pageant, the curation will unravel a cinematic feast that may ignite your ardour and go away you spellbound.
“With an unimaginable lineup of movies and thought-provoking discussions, JFF 2023 guarantees to be one in all our best but,” mentioned Basant Rathore, Senior VP – Technique and Model Growth, Jagran Prakashan Ltd.
The pageant may also function panel discussions with movie personalities, together with Anupam Kher, Boney Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Iranian director Majid Majidi, Adil Hussain and others.
The gala will host titles such because the opening movie “The Signature” (Hindi), directed by Gajendra Ahire and starring Kher, within the World Premiere part. Sazzad Khan’s “Kaathgolap” from Bangladesh can also be a part of the line-up on this phase and shall be screened on August 5.
Nathalia Syam’s “Footprints On Water”, an English-language movie starring Adil Hussain, and Iranian film “Yasa,” directed by Mani Mehdipour, will function underneath the Asia Premiere phase on August 3.
The movie pageant, organised in affiliation with Uttar Pradesh authorities, may also journey to Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Dehradun, Hisar, Gurgaon, Ludhiana, Patna, Darbhanga, Ranchi, Raipur, Indore, and Siliguri.
JFF 2023, touted to be the world’s largest travelling movie pageant, will culminate in Mumbai on October 14.
