Tata Group chairman N Chandrasekaran has been given France’s highest civilian award for his contributions to strengthen the commerce relationship between India and France.
French minister for Europe and overseas affairs Catherine Colonna offered the Chevalier de la Legion d’honneur to Chandrasekaran on behalf of the French president on Tuesday (16) night.
Colonna mentioned in a tweet that Tata group of firms “is a significant participant within the Franco-Indian partnership: I had the pleasure of presenting its CEO, on behalf of the President of the Republic, with the insignia of Chevalier de la Legion d’honneur. Pricey Natarajan Chandrasekaran, you’re a pal of France”.
